This week, I focused on developing my boss room, introducing a formidable new character named Ganon. Upon entering the boss room, players encounter Ganon, who is designed to deliver an impactful experience. I included an engaging text prompt that appears as players enter, warning them that "Ganon better watch out, or else." During the battle, Ganon taunts players with the phrase "Prepare to die," setting an ominous tone. His combat abilities include teleportation and the ability to fade in and out of visibility, making him a challenging opponent. He attacks by shooting glowing orbs, adding an exciting visual element to the fight. Ganon has a health pool of only 10, making each encounter intense. Additionally, I implemented a dying animation that activates after he sustains two hits, providing a satisfying conclusion to the battle. Overall, these features aim to enhance the gameplay experience and create a memorable boss encounter.
