This week, I developed my first level in Unreal Engine, drawing inspiration from examples provided by Fab and Quixel. These resources offered insights into effective level design and construction. My initial efforts involved creating a foundational platform and populating the environment with various assets, including trees and plants, to simulate a natural landscape. To enhance the atmosphere, I added clouds and a sun to the sky, carefully adjusting their positions to achieve the desired ambiance. Experimenting with Unreal Engine’s lighting features, I strategically placed lights to illuminate the scene, paying close attention to how different settings affected the mood and visibility of the level. Finally, I incorporated a post-process volume to simulate sunlight, further refining the visual aesthetics of the environment.
Here's the layout I've crafted for my game level.

I utilized these assets in the creation of my level.
