This week, I focused on enhancing the mechanics for my shooting enemy. I developed the bullet system that allows the character to shoot at enemies effectively, along with the corresponding animation for the shooting action. Once the player successfully hits an enemy, the shooting character can now eliminate it, triggering a dying animation for the enemy. This sequence ensures that every time the player defeats an enemy, it transitions smoothly into a dying animation before disappearing from the scene. Additionally, I dedicated time to improving the overall design of my level, adding visual elements that enhance the gameplay experience.
